Norman Saunders by David Saunders. This spectacular new 288-page hardcover monograph documents the extensive career of the legendary artist Norman Saunders. From his work as one of the top pulp illustrators, to his paintings for men's adventure magazines, paperbacks, comics, Mars Attacks, Wacky Packages, and numerous others, this book provides a thorough overview of his life's work. Illustrated in full-color with hundreds of images culled from Saunder's extensive archives. The expected publication date is late-2008.

Masters of American Illustration: 41 Illustrators and How They Work by Frederic Taraba. This gigantic hardcover brings together all of Taraba's "Methods of the Masters" articles originally published in Step-by-Step Graphics magazine. At over 400 pages in length, this hefty volume explores the working methods and careers of 41 of America's greatest classic illustrators. Each article is extensively illustrated with beautiful full-color and black and white reproductions. Illustrators and students of illustration looking to master the fundamentals of solid picture-making will want to add this indespensible title to their bookshelf.
